Frequently Asked Questions

BOOKING FAQS

I’ve bought a pass on the website but it’s not recognising it when I go to book in

You need to create a client account.

If you don’t want to set up a client account, you will need to use your package code to book classes. This package code is found in the confirmation email you receive after purchasing a class pass. It will look something like this: 9E6F94C6

Next to the code will be a link to ‘schedule’ - click that and it will allow you to redeem the code and book in.

I’ve booked in via the website, should I also download the app?

Yes, we suggest downloading the app to help you view and manage your bookings.

The Acuity Scheduling app asks me to Add A Business, how do I action this?

The app will ask you to enter a business’s’ client scheduling page URL to schedule an appointment. Our business scheduling link is https://louisekellysurfsideyoga.as.me/

You can copy and paste this into the app and it will find the Surfside Yoga Studio.

The booking system is asking me to fill in the intake form again. How do I get around this?

If you have set up a client account via the Acuity app, your previous form answers will populate automatically. You’ll be able to edit any details if necessary, but won’t need to fill out the form each time.

If you don’t set up a client account via the app, you’ll need to input the details each time.

How can I cancel my unlimited membership?

You can manage your own subscriptions using the link provided in each Acuity email. This allows you to cancel the subscription so you will not be charged again. If your circumstances change, please get in touch if you would like any assistance with working out an alternative class pass.

Can I change my credit card details on file?

Yes, you can do this via the Acuity app.

What happens with unlimited membership over Christmas/New Year?

Each unlimited contract is based on a 50 week calendar year. The studio is generally closed for 2 weeks over Christmas/New Year.

OTHER FAQS

Where does Beach Yoga take place?

Beach Yoga takes place on the sand in front of Narrabeen Surf Club (the middle one). Park in the surf club car park if you have a permit, or on the street; then walk down the beach path at the end of Albert Street.

What happens if it rains?

In the case of wet weather, we move to the home studio at 78 Bassett Street, Mona Vale.

Is the Surfside Studio at a residential address?

Yes, Louise and her husband designed and built the studio at their home in Mona Vale.

Where should I park?

There is street parking, but if you’re coming to the studio after 9am on a weekday you may find it easier to park at the large Mitre 10 car park (400m down the road, towards Flying Fox Park).

Where do I enter the studio?

Walk up the driveway or the steps (to the right of the driveway), and then come up to the house. At the top of the steps turn left, and walk down the verandah to the studio door.

How soon can I start Mums n Bubs yoga?

We suggest starting after your 6 week check. Get in touch if you would like to start sooner.

Is my baby too old for Mums n Bubs?

Once your bub is crawling, Mums n Bubs yoga becomes a little tricky! It does depend on the baby though, so feel free to contact Louise to discuss.

For pre-natal yoga, how many weeks should I be before starting?

We recommend starting from 14 weeks.

What should I bring to yoga?

Your own mat (highly encouraged for hygiene reasons) and waterbottle (non-plastic preferred).

For Beach Yoga, we also suggest a towel, sunglasses, sunscreen and layers in case of changeable weather.

What mat is best for yoga?

We love the Second Earth mats as they grippy and grounding. Or if you’re a beach lover, you might like to check out the stunning aerial photography mats. Both are eco-friendly, sustainable and made without toxic chemicals.
